Questions, answered

The practical details, without the guesswork.

Updated October 14, 2026 · Prelaunch

Is reserving a name free?#

Yes. You sign an authentication message and confirm the reservation. No SOL payment or blockchain transaction is required.

Do I need to own a coin?#

No. Owning or buying a coin is not a condition of reserving a username.

Does signing instantly claim the name?#

No. Signing authenticates your wallet. Select Reserve username after sign-in and wait for the saved-name confirmation. Checking availability alone does not hold a name.

Is my username stored on Solana?#

No. It is stored in bruh’s database and linked to your public wallet address. There is no token or transaction to find in a blockchain explorer.

Will disconnecting lose my name?#

No. Disconnecting ends the browser session. Your reservation remains until you explicitly release it or it is handled under the reservation terms.

Can I transfer the reservation?#

There is no wallet-to-wallet transfer function. Releasing a username makes it available to everyone, so it is not a safe transfer mechanism.

Why is a name unavailable?#

It may already be reserved, be a service name, or fail the format rules. Usernames need 3–20 characters, must start with an English letter, and can contain English letters, numbers and underscores.

When does bruh launch?#

A launch date has not been announced here. A reservation does not guarantee a date or a particular feature. The documentation will be updated as the service becomes available.

Will you send me a launch email?#

This flow does not collect an email address, so it cannot email you a launch notification. Check joinbruh.com for updates. Reserving a wallet address is not the same as subscribing to a mailing list.

Does early access include rewards?#

No airdrop, token allocation, financial return or creator reward is promised by a username reservation.
